Samsung "B-Die" RAM chips were popular in AMD Ryzen setups. They usually offer reduced clock speeds and might allow slight overclocking. I understand they're gradually being replaced by newer models. The essential "B-Die" version isn't actually Samsung's "B-Die" anymore. Both options are good, but I'd likely choose the Crucial package for its superior XMP support.
I wouldn't stress over b-die if you're not doing anything beyond setting DOCP or XMP and leaving it at that. But both brands are very good and you really can't go wrong with either. But I can tell you from personal experience, G.Skill has an amazing RMA/warranty process. I had an older DDR3 kit that they took under warranty (just randomly failed) without question. Turn around was less than two weeks with a holiday in there. If it serves its purpose and you don't have any issues, I'd keep it. Not worth the hassle if you're not doing anything beyond gaming.
I purchased the Gskill and the SSD from Newegg together. I’m considering sending back the SSD now, hoping to return the Gskill as well. I’m not familiar with Gskill’s RMA procedure, but Newegg seems to charge a $10 return label. I’m uncertain about the return process if the Gskill doesn’t work out.
