Considering the 2060 Super, despite the TechPowerUp review indicating that the RX 5700 XT achieves approximately a 5% performance advantage, I am inclined toward the Nvidia card. My reasoning is based on numerous reports regarding difficulties with AMD's 5000 series graphics processing units, and I believe Nvidia’s ecosystem of features and driver support is superior. Specifically, the issues seem centered around driver complications and potential hardware compatibility challenges affecting AMD’s 5000 series. Having utilized ATI and AMD graphics cards for a significant period, I’ve consistently found them to be considerably less dependable in terms of driver stability. This video provides a concise overview of these concerns.
Although personal preference plays a significant role, I’d personally recommend NVIDIA. Considering similar pricing, I assume the specifications would be nearly identical (though the distinctions are generally imperceptible). Furthermore, lacking expertise with AMD’s offerings contributes to my choice of NVIDIA, and finally, NVIDIA includes the “Shadow Play” functionality – which could be beneficial if recording gameplay were a priority.

The RX 5700 XT provides an approximate 10% increase in gaming frame rates, albeit accompanied by elevated temperatures and greater energy consumption.
