My budget is 380 dollars, I need to buy used cards for better value.
I’ve dealt with three cards:
RTX 3080 MSI SUPRIM X (Max Temp 71)
RX 6800 XT ASROCK Taichi X (Max Temp 66)
RX 6800 XT Saphire Nitro Plus Special Edition (Max Temp 70)

All three are in very good condition.
Which one should I choose? I’m unsure since each has its own strengths (RTX vs RX).

My specs:
Processor: Intel I5 11400
Motherboard: Gigabyte b560m h
Ram: 2x8GB 3200MHz
PSU: Bitfinx Formula 650w Gold

I know the PSU isn’t the best, but I used the RTX 3070 Ti and it worked fine.
I plan to play at 1440p and want to avoid bottlenecks.

Locked i5 indicates your overall power usage isn't excessive, so you should be fine.
I might consider buying one of the 6800XT now. The increased VRAM will be useful for more recent titles.
If you're keen on the somewhat restricted ray-tracing features, the 3080 could be a good option.

6800 xt. It was easy to use. The VRAM for the 3080 was insufficient when it was launched and remains so in 2025.

I believe the upcoming 9060xt 16gb model is expected to begin around $350, which could be a fresh choice to evaluate. The 3080 faces concerns regarding its VRAM, while the 6800 offers 16GB of VRAM and supports DLSS 4, allowing potential use of AMD frame generation. This might be worth exploring further.

The 6800xt would be my preference. The sapphire nitro+ is typically one of the top cards any aib partner can offer, so that would be my choice.
3080 has some ray tracing capabilities and supports DLSS, but it lacks sufficient VRAM and the Nvidia drivers are problematic; NVidia hasn’t shown much urgency to improve them.
9060xt may perform better in ray tracing compared to the 6800xt, though it’s unlikely to be significantly faster in rasterization.

Performed a brief search, but keep in mind these numbers aren’t entirely reliable. It seems the 5060ti isn’t getting targeted, and it’s likely trading with the 6800xt. The 9060xt might be worth watching since it’s said to be slightly quicker than the 5060ti. Watch this: https://youtu.be/-mWGtqDMMDs?feature=shared
