I mainly need a mouse for TF2/CSGO and other first-person shooters, so I require strong control over the pointer.
I want the buttons to last long, avoiding issues like accidental double clicks.
Ergonomics matter to me too; Razer Deathadder stands out in that area.
I already own a Deathadder V2 with optical switches and a G203 that lasted well—I’m looking for a similar durable option.
I need a budget mouse under $50 CAD, preferably wired.
Here are the models I’m considering:
SteelSeries Rival 3 Wired.
Logitech G403 Hero 25K.
Razer Cobra Wired.
SteelSeries Esports FPS Gaming Mouse – Ultra Lightweight – Prime+
Feel free to share your thoughts and suggest an even better choice!

I've abandoned Logitech products for ten years now. Regarding Razer, I stopped purchasing since 2010 after their equipment frequently failed just before or after warranty expiration. Both brands are seen as expensive plastic items driven by gaming hype. In my view, SteelSeries mice remain the only worthwhile choice on your list. Have you checked Corsair's mouse options?

Checked out Corsair models like M55 RGB, Harpoon PRO with RGB, and Katar Pro XT. Still unsure which one is best.

I would choose the Logitech, it has always been without issues regarding its quality.

Are optical switches indeed more robust?

the logitech is scored at 20 million clicks, which seems low. i'm considering cobra or prime+... cheaper alternatives like rival 3 and m55 pro exist, though they might not be as affordable.
