Consider Red Dead Redemption 2 or Cyberpunk 2077 for your purchase. You’ll decide which to buy now and the other in six months.

The games differ significantly in narrative and atmosphere. I’d pick RDR2 for its refined quality compared to Cyberpunk. It really depends on your preference—whether you’re drawn to a classic western experience or something more advanced and futuristic.

I'm diving into Cyberpunk again, this time feeling a bit frustrated. Back when it launched, I enjoyed the experience without any major issues, sticking closely to the intended story. Now that I've revisited it, I've discovered several bugs and a slightly off narrative flow. The quests seem out of sequence, and some endgame features appear only after hours of play (though I won't spoil anything). Still, I recommend purchasing it—just because I started it. If you're looking for something more stable, consider Red Dead Redemption 2 instead. It offers a solid build and lets you enjoy the story without disruptions. Have a wonderful holiday!

I like cyberpunk mainly because of its atmosphere. I’m not into horses at all; I prefer cars. Still, RDR2 turned out well, and I enjoyed it. You’ll have to try both, though—I’d start with RDR2 since it’s already complete. CP 2077 has a major update coming up, plus a big expansion that will likely need several patches.

That sounds like a challenging choice! I’d probably go with RDR2 if I had to decide.

Red Dead offers a more deliberate, refined journey with deep storytelling, while Cyberpunk resembles a typical FPS action RPG. For players seeking rapid combat and extensive customization, choose Cyberpunk. For a story-driven experience with a tighter pace, opt for Red Dead Online 2.
