the only thing i can share is that i probably would choose Lightning.
But that isn’t the main issue here... i’ve attempted to complete FF 13 a few times now… I really enjoy the graphics, sounds, and tactical fights, but after about 30 hours i’m getting so bored that i just can’t keep playing the game for months on end.
The truth is, i truly want to finish this trilogy.
Any advice on making the gameplay more engaging would be greatly appreciated.

I'm loving Kassandra in AC: Odyssey. Stunning and well-presented, with top-notch voice acting. Another standout is Lara in the latest Tomb Raider titles. The animations flow smoothly and her emotions really convey the atmosphere. Lastly, Hellblade offers some of the best performances I've encountered in a game.

Truly never cared about a character's gender in a game, let alone appreciate it for that reason.

After thinking about it, I had to include more in my post. Sadie Adler from Red Dead Redemption 2 had a story that I really enjoyed. Seeing her evolve from a "fishwife" to an unstoppable cowgirl was exciting to follow.

It's a bit off topic, but I enjoy Star Trek Online for the great freedom it offers in building your own (female) characters. The character customisation is top-notch, with many free costume options, and only small fees apply later on. This seems to be true for most if not all Perfect World titles. (Games like Guild Wars 2 might look better in terms of appearance, but full customisation is usually restricted.) For other titles, I'm sure you'd quickly find a female character you like, especially if you have a favorite from the past or meaningful connections the story makes. You don't generally need to worry about NPCs, but when you do, it's quite pleasant.

My guy, then I should also include Miranda in the Me 2 and 3… somehow my final scene ended with Miranda, but I ended up finishing it with uh… what was her name? Soldier Girl. I just love how the opening lines in FF 13 start with “Be Quiet,” and lightning is called Soldier Girl too, of course. Just because of that reason, I feel compelled to play the ME trilogy again… though I’m not sure if I want to deal with romances this time. Honestly, still Miranda in her catsuit… I’m glad it’s in the pre-2015 style graphics.

And let me know,
@tatte
don’t get too close to things like DoA or other silly Japanese fighting games… It’s already awful how those games from that country mostly use adults instead of just adult characters. If they’d changed their anime and hentai styles, I would have supported that line.
