My GPU runs on a Ryzen 3600X with XMP settings enabled. Even if the manufacturer names it differently, it should appear as XMP in the BIOS.

It’s useful for certain games that need a lot of RAM. I’m not sure if Rust handles it well, but Star Citizen often does (depends on how much RAM it uses), and Fallout 4 can spike to 24GB with high-res textures and mods. Running multiple games at once or using heavy mods can strain even 16GB. You might need to set speeds like DOCP/XMP or manually adjust timing settings. As someone mentioned, mismatched DIMMs can cause problems, though it can still work sometimes. Try setting the main clock to 3200Mhz and leaving other timings on auto. Let the PC boot up a bit—sometimes it needs a few reboots to lock in stable settings before starting normally.
