Battlefield requires significant CPU usage, and additional factors should be considered. Various game engines have different demands beyond just the CPU or GPU. I would replace all components except the GPU, transfer the GPU to your new system, and then invest in a new one once mid-range RTX5000 models become available. For better clarity on your current setup, you may want to list your specifications more thoroughly, such as:

CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Include the age of the PSU along with its make and model.

I have Maximum IX Extreme, an i7-7700, and a GTX 1080Ti. With a budget of 1630 USD, I plan to upgrade three of them... or at least two. Your thoughts would be great. Thanks a lot.

If you're outside the USA, the budget you mentioned doesn't apply without considering sites you can reach, as this platform is based in the United States. Additionally, product availability may differ depending on your region. The main points discussed here are: *How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice* This was adapted from the original post about seeking upgrade guidance. Forums. Minimize unnecessary time by asking directly and focusing on finding practical solutions. Moved thread to Systems section from PC Gaming + Merged with previous ongoing thread, please keep it focused unless you need complex ideas.

Thank you very much! And yes, that's great! Considering Maximus Hero or Strix with i9-4900k and GTX 4070 – any suggestions? Any advice would be appreciated. I like Asus motherboards, Intel CPUs, and Nvidia GPUs. Here are my current specs: CPU i7-7700, motherboard Maximus IX Extreme, 16GB RAM, GTX 1080Ti, case Panzer S Cougar. I’m not sure how to check the power supply.

i9-4900k is a processor model you haven't encountered before. When you install your computer, you'll find the power supply unit's information label, which lists the PSU model name.

My previous answer to this ongoing issue:
Certain titles are constrained by graphics capabilities, while others depend on CPU performance. Multiplayer usually benefits from more threads.
You should determine which one applies.
