Which component needs replacement? GPU or motherboard?
Hello and thanks for reaching out. I recently assembled a new PC with the components listed. The motherboard features a set of d-bug lights visible through its side. After shutting down and turning it back on, the white VGA d-bug light activates. This usually signals a graphics issue. If I power off the PC by holding the power button for about 7 seconds, then restarting it appears to resolve the problem. It seems the issue might be related to the BIOS settings or the motherboard itself, possibly needing replacement at MicroCenter. GPU: MSI RTX Ventus 3 3060 12GB, RAM: G Skill Flare X5, CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, etc.
Your 7700x and 3060 might be causing conflicts. I had to turn off the onboard iGPU on the 7700x because the system showed old GPU drivers while you were using your RTX 4080. Since you didn’t install the AMD drivers for the onboard iGPU, disabling it fixed the problem. You can adjust this settings in the BIOS. It was worth trying.
Recent updates? Current GPU drivers? Sleep features activated? I attempted to turn off them.
