You could always mimic them, increase the quality and include AA and ambient lighting effects. (not achievable with every emulator, though most do support it) Use a launch box for the titles. It’s an excellent tool.

Once they begin remastering, progress won’t halt. Sadly, the new versions won’t end soon. The original games are still out there.

Indeed, updating with a remaster or refresh can enhance visuals, reduce issues, and possibly add multiplayer features to certain titles!
