You should consider getting two 8 GB sticks instead. The new sticks can match the previous 799MHz speed, ensuring optimal performance.

You're likely missing quad channel support, so stick with two RAM modules.

If your motherboard doesn’t have quad channel, you’ll continue using dual channel performance, even with four RAM modules.

DDR4 memory isn't compatible with systems built for DDR3. In terms of speed, you have two choices: either purchase additional sticks of 4 GB each at the same frequency you're currently using, which lets you upgrade to 8 GB without switching frequencies (though quad channel won't be supported), or buy DDR3 sticks that match your motherboard's highest supported frequency.

Your motherboard is compatible with DDR3 RAM, not DDR4, so you can't install DDR4 modules. Purchase two 8-pack DDR3 sticks at 1600MHz, as this is the highest supported speed for DDR3. Verify your motherboard supports up to 1600MHz; otherwise, consider using slower RAM speeds.
