Hello. I’m trying to purchase a laptop but my budget is limited. I’m considering Ryzen 3 or i3 options and am unsure which brand to choose. The models I’m looking at are HP 15s, HP 255 G8, Asus Vivobook x515ea, Lenovo v15 or Acer Aspire 3. There are so many choices that I’m feeling overwhelmed and would really appreciate some guidance.

It would be better to specify your budget and general location or currency. I can search for similar models, though the pricing might differ from what you see.

Lenovo is a solid option for budget laptops.
Additionally, a low-end laptop can be upgraded to a mid-range model by swapping out major parts such as the CPU, RAM, and SSD.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. It’s not about the cost. It’s about choosing a low-end brand that offers good quality. I’m looking for the best option to ensure the laptop lasts and doesn’t overheat quickly. My main focus is on durability and performance over time.

I’d likely look for options in the "business" or "corporate" sections instead of "home" or "consumer."
You might encounter the same challenges a basic desktop buyer faces—limited control over internal components and only guessing about build quality and durability.
Perfectly, you’d prefer a budget-friendly CPU paired with more advanced parts, though such a setup is unlikely.
You mention "low end" and "tight budget," but keep in mind, it’s not just about cost.
Maybe a mid-range price works even without a high-end CPU, though reliability gains would be uncertain.
I’d focus on business models unless budget rules are strict, and I’d rely on luck.
