You're trying to choose a motherboard for your Ryzen 7 3700X. You have several options, including the Pro Carbon from GIGABYTE and others with built-in Wi-Fi. The Pro Carbon is popular but some users report booting issues. Consider your needs and research further before deciding.

B450 Tomahawk MAX comes with a Ryzen 3000 built-in, unlike the other boards which need a BIOS update. It features better VRM and a more robust heatsink compared to the others.

I saw that the two remaining boards are now compatible with 3000 out of the box.

I own the non-max tomahawk and really enjoy it with a 2700.

Tomahawk Max is a great option, honestly. I’m sure I’d pick this one.

The B450 will likely be phased out soon, making it unnecessary to purchase one. Consider getting an X570 instead.

Meh, I don't see the need for an expensive b450 board. The tomahawk is so expensive at that point I'd just get a X470 board if I were going that route. I skimped on my former Ryzen 1600 build and had a ASRock ab350pro4. Cheap junk board but 4.0ghz overclock was fine and never had an issue. The 3700x is not going to be crazy power hungry and overclocking is really such a minor difference compared to stock. As long as the board is up to date it'll be fine. Basically, go with what's cheapest from one of the main brands with 4 ram slots and all the features you need imo.
