I'm considering a R 5600x build and have no idea which motherboard to choose. I've done some research and am leaning toward the Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE V2 AM4, but I'm curious if there are more affordable alternatives in that price range. It doesn't require Wi-Fi, so I'm focusing on USB 3.0 ports and a 2.5Gb Ethernet connection. RGB lighting would be nice, though it's not essential. Since I'm in Australia, I'll base my decision on AUD prices. Cheers, Elijah

This board is quite strong already. If you need more Gen.4 capabilities, the X570 Aorus Elite is an option, though it costs more. For most users, a 550 model seems like a solid pick. Comparing B550 and X570

It seems you're checking the port colors and your internet setup. The RGB lights usually indicate status, not color, so they might not be orange. Regarding your internet speed, a gigabit LAN port works well for speeds around 100 Mbps.

RGB 100 Mbps represents Fast Ethernet, while Gigabit Ethernet reaches speeds of up to 1000Mbps... that's solid.

Great news! The x570’s back layout is really impressive, which is a big plus. Appreciate the recommendation—I think I’ll go with it.
