I plan to boost my processor to 5GHz. Likely, the 9600K will suffice, but locating a cooler suited for the 8600K would make it even more effective for the 9600K, so thank you.

I appreciate your positive attitude. I’m hoping you manage to acquire a chip that can really boost performance to 5Ghz. Once you do, the voltage needed together with such a fast clock speed will cause quite high temperatures. For better heat management, consider opting for a top-tier Noctua cooler. They’re currently considered the leading choice for optimal air cooling. The Noctua NH-U14S seems like a solid pick—it’s been rated highly for threadripper and should handle Intel well. However, it’s quite large, so ensure your system has sufficient space and there are no RAM clearance problems.

Noctua NH 14 or 15 based on your clearance situation. Were you thinking about water cooling?

I think beefy noctua coolers are the top choice, similar to the NH-D15. At this cost, you might also consider water cooling options like the Corsair H100I, or something comparable if your case fits the requirements.

Noctua is a great choice overall. However, I personally don't like their appearance. Cryorig also makes decent coolers. Before deciding on a cooler, check if you have any available clearance, as big air coolers require a lot of room and your cases don't offer much space.
