The manufacturer's OC adjustments won't harm the GPU. They stay well under acceptable levels. Nvidia suggests using a 600W power supply for the 1080ti, while a Strix would need two 8-pin PSU connectors.

regarding 'in-game' results, they're essentially identical across the board.
the key variations lie in their factory-config OC adjustments and cooling/noise characteristics.
i've consistently chosen the Asus Strix series because it remains one of the top GPU air coolers available.
evga is also widely favored and offers excellent customer support.

I'm not aiming to push performance beyond normal, just seeking the highest possible FPS in games. However, there are various Strix versions available—whose one offers the best performance?

the variation among all aftermarket 1080ti GPUs is minimal when it comes to FPS. Starting up, most models behave similarly. Regarding the Strix series, the upgraded version offers superior performance due to its higher stock clock speeds, making it the best choice out of the box.

However, using an overclocked setup raises the power consumption and shortens the lifespan of your graphics card. Do you own a Corsair RX 650W Gold with an 80% overclock?
