I placed Windows 10 on an ISO file instead of using the official app. The installation location isn’t obvious. Try checking your downloads folder or system settings for clues.

You don't have to enter a key, since the download from the Microsoft site will upgrade you automatically.

I think Microsoft might use your motherboard's unique ID as a Windows license code. If you're thinking about installing Windows 10 again, you won't need to enter the license key anymore—it will start activating automatically once your PC connects to the internet.

The Win7/8 key you have is outdated; you received a new one during the upgrade. Check out the link provided to see your updated key.

Upgrading requires an ISO, but you must first install the Windows update to version 10 from 7/8. After that, you can reformat using a new ISO.
