When you have both TPP and a TPM module, use the TPM in the MSC to choose the correct one.

You're facing a common setup issue where both Intel's TPM and your discrete TPM are active, but you can't distinguish between them in the TPM manager. It seems the two TPMs are being treated as separate entries. You might want to check if enabling one temporarily affects the visibility of the other, or consider configuring your BIOS/UEFI to prioritize one TPM over the other based on usage. If having both is intentional, you could try disabling one at a time to see which one appears in TPM.msc.
For a fixed TPM, it makes more sense to rely on that consistently rather than switching to software or firmware-based solutions.
I don't believe it has any meaning to have both options available.
I can turn both on, but Windows seems to favor the TPP in this situation. Because I’ll swap my CPU before the motherboard, I prefer using the discrete TPM built into the board. I’m curious if the TPP server has any function beyond storing cryptographic keys, such as those held by my TPM.
