There are three or four other brand models out now at 1000W and over. I have to assume Corsair is very close to releasing one. I'm waiting on my build for 4090 prices to drop and for Corsair to release a new PSU with ATX 3.0 and the 12VHPWR connection. I'm building with a 4090, all Corsair and an ASUS Z790 Hero Motherboard.
Any clue on when?
atx 3 certification requires some time, but atx12vo 2.0 matches atx 3.0. Intel monitors certified power supplies. Here’s a list of Corsair PSUs: RM750x Shift (RPS0159) - ATX 3.0, RM850x Shift (RPS0160) - ATX 3.0, RM1000x Shift (RPS0161) - ATX 3.0, RM1200x Shift (RPS0162) - ATX 3.0, RM1000e (RPS0179) - ATX 3.0, RM850 12VO (RPS0151) - ATX12VO 2.0. RPSxxxx denotes the model number.
Kerberos, your feedback is useful. I recall hearing about the shift orientation in Tom's when it was introduced. The new Corsair Shift PSUs are ATX 3.0 but lack the 12VHPWR power connector, which isn't suitable for the latest 40 series GPUs. Still, could the shift design be beneficial if you install the massive Corsair iCUE 7000X RGB Full Tower? I'm considering getting a large case since my PC is placed under a large work table and I’m okay with its size and weight.
they should have it, it's listed in the specs... but those PSUs aren't released yet, I think

The PSUs are now offered by Corsair and its partners. The prices range from $149 to $269, with options of $159, $209, and $269 depending on the tier. They feature a 10-year warranty and are available in various colors, though black is the default.
