I was looking into changing a Logitech XML file to remove acceleration, filtering, and skipping features. However, I realized that Logitech G HUB doesn’t produce this file anymore, unlike LGS which I don’t use. Still, I experienced some unusual movement, tracking issues, and it felt odd, especially during small or slow motions.
Mouse: Logitech G Pro Wireless
It was evident that the movement wasn’t perfectly accurate, and my aim often drifted. I struggled to track targets effectively.
I considered discarding the mouse, but then...
I might have discovered a solution, or it could just be a misunderstanding since I’ve been working on this for months.
I saved my current used profile to the mouse’s internal memory.
I removed all Logitech driver software (LGS and Logitech G HUB).
Deleted every Logitech-related file and folder.
Restarted the system, and the mouse felt much more precise, even on the desktop.
I’m unsure what caused this issue, but it seems the software is interfering with the mouse’s movement. I won’t install those programs again.
I’ve kept the essential settings on the mouse itself.
Has anyone else had this problem? Did you find a way to resolve it?
Exactly, but the reason I inquired was to see if others experienced the same problem, so I wasn't just overanalyzing my mouse movement.
After playing for several days, I noticed significant improvement—I can now achieve smooth, precise movement with accurate tracking, making the experience feel perfectly balanced.
The only limitation is controlling the RGB lighting, but that's not a priority for me.
