Current configuration: R5 1600 with 16 RAM, 2400Hz, GTX 1070 Ti, Antec Neo Eco, 550W power supply. Looking to boost frame rates to around 144fps in competitive games while running at lowest settings. It seems challenging to reach that on the current system. Possible improvements: upgrade RAM to 16GB with a 3600Hz clock speed. My existing dual sticks aren’t compatible for overclocking due to manufacturer differences—would a better motherboard be necessary?
