I’m preparing to upgrade my PC by switching from Intel to AMD. I’m curious about any specific software or driver considerations for this change. I’ll retain my existing SSD and HDD, PSU, and graphics card.

you’ll need a different mobile device, obviously. aside from that, you should be able to maintain everything on AMD as well. also note that thunderbolt 3 isn’t supported, so unless you have the x570 aqua, you won’t be able to use it.

TB3 is available for use but won't work directly on the mainboard. You'll require an expansion card for installation. However, upon reflection, a premium AMD system already includes TB3 built-in...
