When does 5600 non x come out?
Reviewing the earlier Ryzen 5 3600 and 3600 models, their performance differences were minimal, making the $50 extra for the 3600x seem unnecessary. I’m considering holding off until the 5600 is released. When will that happen?
They're not intended to be OEM for those models, especially since the 5800 and 5900 are meant for OEM only. Unlikely they'll alter that for the 5600.
Due to the ongoing chip shortage, AMD shouldn't release a lower-quality, cheaper product unless they have large quantities of 5500x chips that aren't meeting demand. In short, wait for stock levels to normalize or enough unsuitable 5500x exist to be repurposed without adding more strain on TSMC.
