You're seeking guidance on BIOS configurations for your memory setup aimed at achieving stability rather than pushing performance too high. You own a total of 128GB of DDR5 Corsair Dominator Platinum 5200 RAM, purchased in two sets of 64GB each. The issue you're facing involves frequent system freezes and occasional crashes, especially after waking from hibernation. You've considered various causes but are seeking practical advice on BIOS settings for the memory. You've discussed this with ChatGPT, though you're uncertain about its accuracy, and are now looking for real-world recommendations. You've already adjusted some BIOS parameters such as DRAM frequency, VDD, VDDQ, CPU System Agent, and disabled Fastboot. ChatGPT suggested disabling Memory Context Restore and Fastboot, but you haven't found that option. Your system includes an Intel i9 12900KS CPU, Asus RoG Maximus Z690 motherboard, RTX 3090 GPU with active backplate, and several NVMe drives. You're currently using a water loop setup with Corsair components. You're planning to install a CPU frame from Thermal Grizzly to address thermal throttling concerns.

I purchased these as two sets of 64GB units, and the issue arises there. Please share a picture of both RAM kit's PCB versions.

For a stable memory, use memtest86.
It doesn’t require Windows.
If possible, start with default BIOS settings and perform a complete test without any errors.
If not, gradually adjust the RAM voltage, possibly up to 1.45v.
Alternatively, you can attempt to adjust the timings.

Bios is 4301. I just saw there is also 4505 out since 15/12. Changelog says it has enhanced overall system security (code for making things slower) and Update the Intel ME Firmware (Management Engine).
Not sure about the PCB versions as that requires removing the PCB's from the packages? Anyhow, I bought those kits with more than a year in between, so any PCB revisions differences are likely. Both kits are CMT64GX5M2B5200C40W.

Certainly, I purchased these kits over a year ago, which means any differences in PCB revisions are probably due to that time. Both kits are CMT64GX5M2B5200C40W. We should obtain the PCB revision numbers.
