Hello, This is a new PC, which seems to run pretty stable with some low-end office Radeon, but when the Radeon gets replaced with 3070, WHEAs start to pop. I checked the documentation for timing and voltage configurations. These details are typically found in the reference manual or schematic diagrams, not in general voltage lists.
Technically, none of these claims hold up. Zen 3 can reach 4400 MHz under specific conditions if you adjust the setup and use a suitable board. A strong DDR4 5000 CPU works too, though it won’t match the speed of a well-tuned 3600. Most Ryzen 5000 chips consistently hit around 3800MHz with synchronized clocks, and some even go up to 4000—though those are uncommon. Even AMD mentioned an optimal frequency of 3733 MHz for certain models, but few kits support that setting. Memory timings usually appear in a dedicated menu labeled something like Advanced Memory Configuration. The required settings include tCL, tRCD, tRP, and tRAS. On ASUS boards, timings are often displayed clearly, so check for Cas latency, RAS to Cas delay, RAS to Pre, and RAS activation time. For voltage, use the DRAM voltage setting and set it to 1.35V.
Your current BIOS and CPU-Z configurations remain unchanged despite ongoing issues.
It's not just a memory issue. The WHEA error can also happen because of a bad CPU. A constantly changing CPU speed usually causes this problem. Since the error appears after installing the 3070, the hardware might be faulty.
