I don't understand what you're referring to. Could you clarify which games EA released recently for consoles instead of PC? Also, note that EA is only a small part of the broader gaming industry.
I mean it’s a bit odd, but the point still stands—most titles don’t make the most of modern GPUs. It’s not just about power consumption; it’s about texture handling, physics, environments, and overall visuals. Sure, there’s a lot of flashy stuff, but upon closer inspection, the last decade hasn’t seen a big leap forward. There are hints it might change now with more RAM and VRAM, but that doesn’t mean the past ten to fifteen years were static. There’s some evidence it could shift, especially with games using more RAM and VRAM. Still, nothing about this has anything to do with a company that makes basic games like EA. But the idea that graphics are still just shoddy doesn’t fully pass my test. I’m not usually a big player, but I recently tried Overwatch and it’s surprisingly sharp—great design, solid animations, and impressive effects. It’s not demanding, and the visuals are decent. I’d definitely give it a go! ... And honestly, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes with effects and physics, which makes it worth checking out. It’s not perfect, but it’s better than what I’ve seen before.
I really wish for a Bloodborne and Demon Souls release on PC. These are among the rare titles still available only for consoles. Yet the core issue is simple: I want to play the games I enjoy without any technical issues holding me back. That’s why I invest in top-notch peripherals. I don’t want any faulty mouse, keyboard, controller, mount, headphones, or computer to ruin my experience. In recent years, the best gaming moments have come from indie projects, which are mostly PC-based. The truth is, the PC gaming scene is in an excellent state now. Everyone should focus on the indie side rather than just chasing AAA titles.
There are likely countless more games on PC than on consoles together. I appreciate the adaptability of a PC compared to a console. The only thing I miss from consoles is a solid NHL title to enjoy.
