The main differences lie in the setting and lore. Overwatch is set in a futuristic city with diverse heroes, while Overwatch: Origins takes place in a different universe with a focus on character backstories and early-game progression.
They don’t charge for heroes, so every version should include them. Just purchase skins (perhaps?) and collect loot boxes.
Origins Edition reveals exclusive skins for Soldier: 76, Reaper, Pharah Bastion and Tracer—skins that won’t appear through any other method. It also brings special bonus items from Blizzard’s other titles, all accessible with any version purchased. Every hero remains available regardless of the game you choose.
