Is this a bargain or a scam? The 32GB DDR5 6800 (2x16) in white is listed at 320 euros. A similar model in black costs 792 euros...? I’m unsure if it would actually run at 6800, but 6000 still seems reasonable and affordable. Since I don’t need it, it probably isn’t worth buying. But if it’s genuine, I could sell it for around 750 euros or less.

I need to keep US pricing and availability in mind, but that still feels a bit steep. There are higher options available, though I’m not sure I’d risk it just to try and profit. From what I see locally, it doesn’t seem like a strong deal, which means the chances of earning a lot are low. Prices for RAM are high, so avoid getting caught up in hype and potential losses.

The correct amount should be 320 euros. The 792 euros is more than double what we currently expect to pay. DDR5 with 32GB memory is roughly 300 to 400 dollars today, not 800.

The issue is that while there are many individual sticks, the overall price is higher. A 16GB package costs around 400 at reputable sellers—typically the ones offering the best deals. The 32GB kit seems either a scam or the seller is not very knowledgeable (he usually sells cables and similar items).

References? Since I can't locate anything under 600, here you go!

I checked again and found several kits in the 325 to 350 range—about ten offers total. Then there are hundreds priced roughly double or more. It’s interesting since some sellers you wouldn’t expect to charge high prices are actually offering them. Overall, it doesn’t seem like a good deal unless I’m planning an AM5 build, which honestly doesn’t make much sense.
