How often do you encounter the need to reinstall Windows due to any problem? I'm reaching out because I often find myself dealing with issues that require formatting and a fresh install. This could be related to my OCD tendencies, but I'd appreciate your thoughts if you've ever had to reinstall Windows regularly. Also, what about challenges like running a dual-boot system with both Linux and Windows, where everything works until you realize you can't expand your SSD in Windows?

I've never needed to use Win 10 for four years; I only had to reinstall it once.

It's usually just when I messed up the bootloader after installing Linux or when I upgrade software versions. That's about it.

Discussing problems like mixing a dual-boot setup with Linux and Windows, where everything functions smoothly until you discover you can't partition your SSD on Windows?

Dual boot works fine. The issue is with the grub installation and we can't optimize SSDs in Windows. Probably just a misstep with the disk settings or using tools from the SSD manufacturer.

Repeated four times, yet most of the time it’s just restarting Windows while preserving the files.

If you're experiencing serious problems such as failure to boot or crashes, it might be time for a replacement drive.

I also attempted a dual-boot setup using a single SSD across two partitions, and the boot process functioned perfectly. However, when I tried to run the optimization tools in Windows, it didn’t recognize the drives or allow any partitioning changes.
