The service isn't billed for diagnosis during your warranty period. Did you perform the test after downclocking?

This may indicate a monitor issue or GPU problem. Verify all connections and test with different cables or ports.

They may charge only if they confirm there are no issues. I didn't undervolt it. If it doesn't work with stock settings, it's faulty.

I'm not talking about voltage. And it's not about workaround. It's about finding if this is a problem so you can be sure what is wrong.

You might be confused about the effects of underclocking when the card functions well at full capacity. It appears to lead to erratic behavior in the windows.

Checking underclock can definitely reveal if the issue lies with your GPU. If everything functions smoothly after adjusting the clock speed, the problem is likely with the GPU. If not, it could be something else—though it might still be related to the GPU.

A faulty screen wouldn't lead to the system freezing

I sent my 1660 Ti from an HTPC without any problems. Likely the 1080 Ti is the correct version. I'm sending it back, hoping they can recreate the issue and maybe offer a free upgrade to something similar to an RTX.
