What’s causing my graphics card to not reach its full potential?!
I recently installed Windows 10 and updated to the newest version, updating my graphics card driver (both integrated and discrete). However, when I play games now, my GPU only reaches around (60-70)% usage while my CPU doesn't exceed 50% and my GPU temperature remains below 65°C. This is significantly impacting my frame rates in some games; on Windows 8.1, I previously achieved over 60 fps, but now it’s consistently less than 25 fps! I’ve attempted numerous troubleshooting steps, but the issue persists. Please assist me.
What is your system spec (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS)? Also, what games is this happening with, and does it do it in all games?
If W10 was the only change since this started happening, it could be a bad W10 install. Did you install W10 separately as a clean install (recommended), or upgrade directly from W8?
We needs the system specs and the games you are having the issues with.
It’s reasonable to make a generalization about someone who seems to struggle with English based on a single typographical error, suggesting an inability to determine their particular needs? It’s also frequently observed that individuals require assistance in identifying specifications for one or two parts.
Perhaps it would be beneficial to recognize that online communities like this primarily serve as resources for support rather than exhibiting judgmental attitudes. We were all initially inexperienced with computers, and we probably had to seek clarification on many topics.
