You can choose how much you want to spend, though it’s not necessary. I heard there might be issues with Asus supporting PCIE 4.0 for the upcoming Intel line, but it probably isn’t a big deal unless you care. Any good motherboard should work fine.

The MSI Z490 Unify works well without RGB options. The Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Ultra and Master are also strong choices. For a more budget-friendly pick, consider the MSI Z490 Tomahawk and Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Elite.
