I'm not sure about the current best mobos, but you're considering a B660. That's a solid choice for performance and reliability. Overclocking isn't your plan, so it should be fine.

If you're not aiming for overclocking, consider the B660 paired with the 12700. Performance stays close to 2% under full speed and offers savings of around $50 on the CPU and $50–100 on the motherboard. The MSI B660M-A Pro with the 12700 is a solid choice, but understanding your specific IO requirements can help optimize your setup.

The 12700 and B660M-A Pro make a solid choice. The main issue I see is the number of USB ports on the back—only six Type A ports, which is below my preference of at least seven. However, you can always add a USB hub if needed.

I suggest the ASUS TUF Z690-Plus WIFI D4 for your setup. It works well with your 12600K. As RONOTHAN noted, if you don’t intend to overclock, a B660 and a non-K CPU would be more appropriate.
