will the cpu overheat or what will happen if you add a cooler at the bottom for improved airflow?

The radiator should be positioned at the front of your case, extending outward toward the top.

the reasoning behind placing radiators on top of your computer is that hot air rises, allowing the air to flow upward and through, which helps expel most of the heat from the radiator. putting it at the bottom would block airflow, causing the hot air to accumulate around other parts like the graphics card, increasing heat buildup and negatively affecting performance.

bailojustin :
you wouldn't get good results.
the reasoning is that hot air rises, so putting radiators on top lets the air flow upward, helping to expel heat effectively.
placing them at the bottom would block airflow, causing the hot air to rise and heat other parts like the graphics card, which could increase heat inside.
switching to the top rear or front might be better than putting them at the bottom.
what's the best option?

You're looking for the radiator at the top of your case, positioned outward. The rear side usually has slots or holes for mounting it specifically. I understand you might have an H100i but only a small 120mm radiator. Thanks for the advice! I hope my PC gets much colder. 😊

When it comes to a 120mm, the upper part of the back panel can also be a suitable option for your IO.

010TheMaster010 :
Summary of the situation
If it's a 120mm, the back panel top where your IO is also a good option. It didn't fit in the rear but now fits in the top rear area, and I'm experiencing temperatures around 40-60 degrees Celsius while using my FX 8350 at 4.5ghz.
