What will be the next generation of CPUs? AMD or Intel?
Yes, I’ll choose AMD or Intel for my next CPU. Or maybe a turnip.
Likely not until 2022 I’ll upgrade my system. It’ll depend on what meets my needs and budget, considering price and performance. No brand loyalty here.
I’ll choose the best option for my needs, not caring about the brand. If both brands offer similar features at the same price, I’d pick AMD. Honestly, my next CPU is likely going to be from AMD because I want a powerful 16-core processor around $350 or less in the coming years. Intel doesn’t seem close enough yet, while AMD already has a product in mind at a more affordable price.
It's tough to capitalize on those vulnerabilities in real life (it's just theory), and it doesn't impact most users or businesses much. Halt the "AMD good, Intel bad" hype and fanboy attitude. Honestly, if PCIe GEN4 isn't essential, I'd still choose Intel for enterprise since they consistently perform better there. AMD still has a lot to work on. In the consumer market, I’d definitely pick Ryzen for its great value and features. And honestly, AMD isn’t as user-friendly as it seems—Intel’s move was likely due to lack of competition. I don’t have strong brand loyalty; I just purchase what fits my needs at the best price.
