Open your SC/Public directory (C:\Program Files\Cloud Imperium Games\StarCitizen\Public is the standard path). Create a new file named User.cfg. Insert the following settings: con_restricted = 0i_mouse_accel = 0.0i_mouse_accel_max = 0.0i_Mouse_Smooth = 0.0cl_sensitivity = 10. Adjust the sensitivity as needed. Save the file with any format that supports these parameters.
I own a Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 too, but the left stick keeps wandering off to the left. That’s why I upgraded my PS4 controller. Have you tried Elite Dangerous? The way you maneuver with the mouse there is smooth, but I still favor a controller. I managed to set the main center gun to automatically track side-mounted weapons instead of always pointing straight ahead. I want that same feel but can’t figure out how I achieved it. Probably needs some binding adjustments and rebinding the controller myself. Those double bindings seem to be confusing me. I think it’ll take just a few hours of trial and error, but I’m hoping it helps. The mouse movement feels much more natural and real-time in the game. Not pushing this title too hard, but I just want to enjoy it.
The usual way to secure gimballed weapons is CTRL+G. I suggest using this with the 325a. Also, pressing ALT+M toggles or activates relative mode, which makes controlling my ship much easier. This feature was introduced in 1.3, but I keep it off since I can't fly with it enabled.
The Xbox 360 controller functions directly and has been supported since launch. Using a PS3 controller works through third-party tools, which explains the DS4 setup. The software package can be found at the provided link. For ELITE, it offers a contemporary flight feel and BF4-specific cheat codes for jet controls. SC aims for an authentic flight simulation.
Great start! The double issues are affecting how the PS4 controller works. I’ll also test the Logitech option. Clearing and rebinding should take some time, but I need to resolve the WD Blue 1TB problem first. Ran a disk cleanup, but access is still blocked. Disk management shows files present, yet nothing works. I’m planning to unplug and replug it if chkdsk /r fails after coming home from school. Previously, the drive had no issues, just needed occasional file cleanup. It seems my old WB Blue isn’t behaving properly.
Test the program as it appears to confuse the PC about using an Xbox controller stick. If problems arise, let us know immediately. We’re all dealing with similar issues, but version 1.3 is the most problematic so far due to the merged changes. The upcoming 2.0 PTU looks more stable.
These conflicting instructions are causing confusion. I've removed all restrictions on the controller in SC settings, except for a few adjustments like thrusters and movement. I can only use thrusters and pitch; holding the left trigger slows them down. That’s not ideal. I need to understand why double binds appear when I enter settings—should be resolved! All keyboard controls are functioning normally.
