Hi there
I had some confusion about the shared video memory.
My laptop has an Intel HD5500 with an NVidia 930M, and in Task Manager the IGPU shared memory shows 4GB.
Despite having 8GB of RAM installed, I think the actual IGPU shared memory is too high.
It also seems I set the DVMT pre-allocation to 32MB, which adds to the confusion.
Can you clarify how much IGPU shared memory is actually available?
Thanks

It's typical, it won't consume RAM unless you play games and the VRAM exceeds 2GB for your setup. For DVMT, pre-allocation is handled by the GPU. Everything is fine. 😀

It's fine if it's normal
I'm actually trying to figure out who caused the BSOD, and I thought it might be a GPU driver crash.

bsod occurs when my sister uses this laptop. I didn’t know what code was involved. She doesn’t take any pictures on it. I’m trying to find a log using the bluescreenview app, but it doesn’t show any error messages. She says it happens when there’s low load, like during document work excell. That makes it difficult to reproduce the issue.
