You recently installed your Ryzen 7 2700 with the Gigabyte B450m S2H motherboard. I performed a stress test on the CPU and noticed the auto-voltage setting fluctuates between 1.0 and 1.09 volts, which seems quite low. When attempting to overclock it to 3.6 GHz, after booting into Windows 10 and opening Chrome, the monitor displayed no signal, likely due to the CPU being undervolted. I’m looking for guidance on the optimal voltage for overclocking and whether a stock cooler is sufficient.

I've watched a video showing a technician achieving all cores at 4025Ghz in 1.3x speed.

It's unlikely you'll surpass 1.25-1.3v with an OEM cooler, so why invest in OC to 3.6GHz when it can reach 4.1GHz on a single core and at least 3.6GHz on others?

I haven't OC'd my own, as I haven't reached the point of fully utilizing this CPU.

The Gigabyte B450m S2H board typically has a weak VRM, so I wouldn't go overboard—particularly with the stock cooler. It's best to use a reliable aftermarket cooler and ensure proper airflow around the VRM before attempting an overclock on this board.

I don't suggest using a stock cooler for this situation.
