I7 12700k
Corsair 3200 C18 RAM DDR4
MB B760 Tomahawk DDR4
Superflower Leadtek 1200w PSU
GPU Asus Pro Art 4080 Super.

Everything functioned normally until a few minutes of playing BO6 caused the screen to go blank and the fans to spin at full speed. I was using a Z690 plus MB and an I7 12700k, along with a HX1000 PSU and a 3080TI. After this incident, my PC would not boot. Switching to an older 2080 worked fine. When I tried BO6 again, the screen went blank once more. I replaced the MB with the Asus B760 but it didn’t help. Eventually, I ordered a 4080 Super, but it also failed to boot. In short, I’ve tested two different MBs, two PSUs, and three GPUs. The PC won’t start with the 3080TI or the 4080 Super, but it does boot with a 2080, though games stop when the screen goes blank and fans run at full speed.

Thanks in advance.

Will the system start in safe mode without any BSODs, freezing, or black screens?

How are you managing the processor cooling?
I swapped the motherboard for an Asus B760 but didn’t notice any improvement.
Have you reinstalled the operating system after replacing the motherboard? Also, what BIOS versions are you using for your board?
I ordered a 4080 Super but it won’t even start.
You might want to check if the system boots without the dedicated GPU. If it does, it could mean the power supply isn’t providing enough power under load. It might also be a thermal shutdown due to insufficient cooling for your setup.

Thank you for your quick responses. The system won't start at all with the 3080TI or 4080 Super, but works fine with the 2080 until underload for a few minutes during a game. I haven't reinstalled the OS; I'm still using the same one. I'm cooling the CPU with a 360 AIO Artic freezer ii. No MB Bios updates have been made yet.

Things appear to be fine now, I just had to gently move the 4080 connector a bit, and it's booting up properly with BO6 working correctly so far.
