I’d much prefer this method of boosting dev’s profit margins over all the big mistakes people have made (looking at you, EA Games) and chasing sequels or season pass fluff. Please share a solid expansion pack instead—stop trying to rebrand the same ideas in different colors, FFS.
If this income supports the creation of the next major project, it doesn’t matter. I’d rather they invest it that way than waste time complaining about piracy—something that’s never actually occurred before!
