What steps should I take to change the function of the F keys on my keyboard?
My cat was sitting on my keyboard and accidentally changed the F key functions. The F7-F12 keys were controlling audio settings, playback, pausing, and skipping, but now they only handle technical tasks like opening a panel of code, removing tabs, or switching to full screen on Chrome. I need to revert them back to their original behavior.
Let your cat sit on it once more. It might solve the problem. For other, more useful solutions;
Your KB has special software. Does it offer a KB rebind feature? (For example, my iCUE program includes this option.)
If that fails, on Windows 11 you’d have to install the PowerToys app to allow KB management and then use it to adjust keybindings.

The manual states you may change between gaming and office modes by holding the knob for three seconds. If this isn't satisfactory, you can reset it by pressing FN+ESC and maintaining the hold for three seconds.
