I understand you were searching for a video tutorial to back up programs after reinstalling Windows. I ran a search and found the guide you need. It walks through creating a list of installed applications, which helps with data recovery. Let me know if you'd like more details or assistance with anything else!

What you mean is keeping your files safe and organizing them properly. You mention backing up photos, music, documents, and game files so you don’t lose anything. You also talk about listing the programs you have installed to help decide what to install again after a Windows reinstall. If you don’t have important items, simply reinstalling Windows is enough.

You didn't get what you wanted... should I just remove my appdata files and reinstall from scratch? Haha.

Returning to this now that I located what I needed. https://www.supportrix.com/kb/how-to-gen...:text=STEP 1%3A Press Windows + [R] ,then type in “cmd” and then press [Enter] . STEP 1: Activate Command Prompt as Administrator, paste the command “wmic /outputBig Grin:\InstalledSoftwareList.txt product get name, version ” and hit Enter. Once executed, you’ll see a file resembling this. Note: I use Notepad++; your standard Notepad may differ. Edited August 8, 2023 by Melano Added running CMD with admin rights makes sense. Included a reference image.
