In my view, these two games feel quite distinct from each other. While they differ greatly, I still appreciate strategy titles because they often offer many hours of replay value over time. Shadows of Mordor isn’t bad, but it’s more suited for a single playthrough followed by a brief return. If you’re really into 4X mechanics and can only choose one, I’d recommend Civ: BE.
