My new setup includes an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, a Gigabyte Gaming OC GeForce RTX 3060 with 12GB, a Gigabyte X570S AORUS Elite (rev 1.1), G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 32GB DDR 4400, a WD Black SN850X NVMe M.2 2280 2TB, an XPG Core Reactor 650-BKCUS, and an EK-AIO Basic 240. The system was powered on with the OS installed but lost power after about 45 minutes. After switching the PSU off and on, there was a click with the fans twitching. Plugging in an old Seagate 240W into just the motherboard and fans worked, but the XPG still wouldn’t power up. The Seagate 650 from my current rig also worked fine. I’m trying to figure out how to fix this without spending too much on replacement PSUs. Any suggestions?

When I blew the Seasonic 750, I had been employing the same cables as before for roughly six years. Appreciate the advice!

Avoid using cables not originating from the PSU.

Did you connect cables from a different power supply unit to another PSU? You've triggered the release of magical smoke from one or more parts.

No, I didn't connect cables from one power supply to another. The Seasonic came from an older setup. I was addressing concerns about using the incorrect cable.
