I own an ASROCK 990FX Extreme 9 motherboard and a Zotac 1050Ti (OC Edition).
My graphics card is losing power, which leads to system shutdowns. It seems to work again when I gently move it.
I’m unsure if the issue lies with my graphics card or the motherboard. How can I determine which one is faulty? Also, please note that my motherboard no longer recognizes my second RAM stick—showing 8 GB instead of the expected 3.96 GB.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated so I can address the problem properly.

Are you wondering about updating something? Maybe the graphics card or video cable needs a change. It might be time to switch from the old AM3 setup. Don't waste more money on it.

Attempt to clean the contacts on the graphics card and RAM using an eraser; the issue seems to improve.

Thank you for the idea.
I'm mainly worried about not swapping the CPU, Mobo and RAM just in case the real problem is the graphics card.
