Basic question, I currently have 16GB of RAM, but the 2133MHz Crucial RAM is slow. I’d really like to upgrade it since speed will be key in the future. I also just upgraded my PC and want it to perform at its best. What type of RAM should I get and how much? Thanks!

Consider boosting performance first. You can locate Micron 2133MHz parts that match the speed of their 3200MHz CL16 kits.

Check the BIOS settings to see if you can adjust RAM speeds. Yes, some systems allow exceeding the advertised speed for RAM.

Yes of course, their advertised speed is just the guaranteed speed. This is a 3000MHz CL16 kit... Just turning on XMP, maybe manually select 3000MHz (depending on motherboard) and you'll get that settings loaded.

Hey there! I've been using this RAM for a whole year without any issues. No need to upgrade anytime soon—thanks for the update!
