What Programs / Softwares for monitoring hardware?

I recently assembled my very first gaming PC a few days back, though I still need a fresh Ethernet cable. I was curious about the software to keep an eye on my hardware. For general use, CPUID HWMonitor seems solid, MSI Afterburner works well for GPU tuning and overclocking, and CPU-Z is a great choice for CPU monitoring. Any other ideas? Thanks, The Slimy Pig.

I rely on Core Temp for CPU temperatures, MSI Afterburner for my GPU, and HWMonitor to monitor my motherboard/PSU temps. That’s essentially your setup. Also, keep the Speedfan away from anything fragile—it doesn’t work well.

I rely on CPU-Z and GPU-Z for detailed insights, but for everyday checks I use Real Temp and EVGA Precision X. With the recent Precision X15 issue from EVGA, I'm considering switching to MSI Afterburner temporarily.

Openhardwaremonitor, cpu-z, gpu-z, real temp and/or core temp. Afterburner works for the GPU too, though I find it quite unstable (though few people agree with this view).

Check your system with CPU-Z to monitor CPU usage accurately. Adjusting fan speeds in the BIOS is fine, but you may want to use CPU-Z for detailed insights.
