tested Helldivers 2 and Overwatch 2
Overwatch 2 maintained consistent frame rates across all settings
Helldivers 2 showed a slight boost from Ultra to Low settings
Looking for a powerful CPU to support esports and visually intense games, with the option to capture frames when settings are reduced.

I’d really think about exchanging the motherboard platforms, as the performance gap between the i5 11400f and the 11700k isn’t enough to meet my requirements. I might face the same problem again.

You’re likely to hit GPU limits here, except for very light esports games where you’d still see high FPS. Your main concern is the CPU now.
The only CPUs and by extension Boards would last a long time because they use DDR5 RAM, which would make your costs go up a lot.

I don't believe the upgrade is worthwhile. At 1440p, the CPU becomes less of an issue as resolution increases. Unless you can afford DDR5, it makes sense to stick with what you have.
