Random shutdowns on AMD systems usually point to a faulty CPU, erratic RAM, a BIOS glitch, or a weak PSU. Finding a defective CPU is nearly impossible without another component, and since it varies with workload, it's unlikely. Unstable RAM is a plausible cause, especially if it passed MemTest86; however, even then a restart might fail the test. A BIOS error is the simplest to investigate—update it and see if symptoms disappear. With these issues appearing suddenly, a PSU problem is the most probable cause, though replacing it would be complex and risky.
All your efforts seem to have been completed. I’d better update the motherboard BIOS first, since you didn’t mention trying that. If that fails, I’d suggest testing the system with a different power supply unit next.
I'll check the VT3 for crashes and see if I can recreate the issue. It was tough to pinpoint the problem. Sometimes watching YouTube helped, other times I could play games and watch videos without issues. I'll look for nearby places to test PSUs. The RM1000x is pretty straightforward to access or replace.
I think I updated it when I first built the PC but there's a new version out from just a few days ago (16th I think) so Im gonna install that and see whether it helps! Thanks for the help
