Hello everyone,
I’d like to seek your advice regarding my upcoming upgrade. Right now, I use the Creative SXFI Gamer Over Ear Gaming Headset and the Logitech G502 Hero RGB as my mouse. Both have been reliable for at least three years, but I’m considering replacing them. Although they still function adequately, there are some minor issues: after two to two-and-a-half years, the left-click on the mouse rarely works, and the SXFI software tends to disconnect my profile almost every day.

My questions are:
1) Should I wait until one of them stops working completely before upgrading, or should I go ahead with an upgrade now because I really want to and can afford it?
2) If I decide to upgrade both, these are the models that stood out to me.

For the headset:
- Astro A30 Wireless
- Razer BlackShark V2 Pro 2023 Wireless
- SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Over Ear Gaming Headset USB
- HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Over Ear Gaming Headset

For the mouse:
- Logitech G502 X Plus Wireless RGB Gaming Mouse 25600 DPI
- Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Wireless RGB Gaming Mouse 30000 DPI
- Razer Deathadder V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse 30000

I’d appreciate your opinions on these choices and any recommendations you might have.

To be clear, I use my mouse and headset almost every day for over four to five hours daily. I wear glasses and have larger-than-average hands, though not extremely big. I also tend to get sweaty easily (this is mainly due to the headset). I also use my PC for gaming, movies, and music—mostly for fun and entertainment. Regarding the headset, it’s compatible with PS4/PS5 and phones, which is fine but not essential. My budget for each peripheral is between 180 and 230 euros, though I might stretch it a bit if something is particularly valuable. My keyboard is a SteelSeries Apex Pro Gaming RGB, if that’s relevant. Please let me know if I missed anything.

Thank you in advance for your help!

I'm in the same situation right now, without the mouse. I've been checking online and on YouTube for reviews about headphones and have narrowed it down to a few options. Blackshark v2 and Logitech G X Pro 2 are the ones I'm considering. Many reviewers say the Audeze Maxwell is currently the best, though it's a bit over my budget. I do know Alpha is still highly rated and offers about 300 hours of battery life—definitely worth considering based on what you said.
